The water clarity and visibility in the upper harbor remains clear as we’re still in a dry pattern with very minimal rainfall. On the east side, depending on the tide we’re moving back and forth between the outside bar system and the mangrove island backcountry. It’s been encouraging to see some large schools of bait, threadfin herring, as well as ladyfish. It’s just good to see some life out there as a sign of health and it’s also not unusual to see some dolphins and manatees. The spotted sea trout bite has been consistent and both redfish and snook are along the shorelines and definitely are eating best on the stronger tides.
